Adverse Events Support from Federated Farmers

Earthquakes, heavy snow, floods, storms and volcanic eruptions all have one thing in common - they can ruin everything. Over the years the Federation has played an increasingly important role in working with district councils and Government to coordinate help and resources.

Support Federated Farmers Adverse Events Trust

Federated Farmers Adverse Events Trust is a registered charity (no. CC46245).  To help us support farmers going through these events, please contact us on 0800 327 646 or to donate to the trust 06-0594-0028181-00

Need or Can offer Assistance?

We are currently running a feed line for flood affected farmers in the South Island. If you are a farmer affected by the floods, please call us 0800 327 646 option 2. We can help you find feed, grazing, or just find a helping hand to get you through the clean up.

Because these events often mean stock have to be sent off farm to long term grazing, we are offering our grazing agreements at half the member price for Federated Farmer members ($40 rather than $80 for the set) and at the member price for non-members ($80 for a set) - we recommend all farmers who are relocating or taking stock utilise these agreements to protect them and their stock.

If you are in a position to help, we are needing offers of feed, grazing, pumps, generators, volunteers, housing and transport for these farmers, if you can help, please contact us on the number above.
