Submission on the Water Services Entities Amendment Bill
Federated Farmers of New Zealand appreciates the opportunity to submit to the Government Administration Select Committee on the Water Services Entities Amendment Bill.
Federated Farmers opposed the Water Services Entities Bill for the reasons set out in its submission last year on the Bill1. We will not restate the points made in that submission, but we wish to make it clear that Federated Farmers continues to oppose what is now the Water Services Entities Act 2022 (‘the Act’). We consider the Act should be repealed and this Bill withdrawn.
