Federated Farmers Submission to Clutha District Council on the Statement of Proposal for the Draft New Resource Consent Application fees 2017
Federated Farmers agrees with the proposal for CDC to develop:
a) A Boundary activity resource consent (under sections 87AAB – 87BA of the Resource Management Act);
b) A Resource consent exemption (under section 87BB of the Resource Management Act).
We agree with Council that the costs associated with these consents/consent exemptions should be recovered primarily through user charges, and we agree that the proposed fees appear reasonable given the requirements facing Council.
