Budget Policy Statement

Federated Farmers welcomes the opportunity to submit to the Finance and Expenditure Select Committee on the Budget Policy Statement 2010 (‘BPS').

Federated Farmers is a regular submitter on the BPS. The BPS is important as it states the broad strategic priorities for the upcoming Budget, any changes to objectives or intentions, and includes the policy goals that will guide Budget decisions and focus. Federated Farmers therefore sees the BPS as an important platform for discussing New Zealand's economic development.
