Federated Farmers ‘totally confident’ in New Zealand milk

Federated Farmers is totally confident in the quality of New Zealand milk.
"I can tell you that hormonal growth promotants are not used on New Zealand milk-producing cows," says Lachlan McKenzie, Federated Farmers Dairy chairperson.
"New Zealand has strict legislative controls about the acquisition and use of such promotants too.
"As a Federation we have total confidence in the New Zealand Food Safety Authority and our milk exporters. We believe absolutely that if there is something untoward, then it won't be from New Zealand," Mr McKenzie concluded.
