Marlborough
Marlborough province stands up on behalf of members, for farming and farmers. It is very concerned about the low returns that farmers are getting for their products and is leaving no stone unturned in its campaign for fairer prices.
The province has an executive meeting on the first Friday of every month, and all members are welcome to attend. We meet at the CRT shop in Blenheim, where CRT sponsors a meeting room for Federated Farmers upstairs.
Locally it has a good relationship with the Marlborough District Council. It has also taken issues to central government direct.
If your issue is property rights, the profitability of farming, rates or the Resource Management Act or any other farming issue then it is your advocate.
