Electricity Industry Bill

Federated Farmers has had significant concerns about the performance of the electricity market, with farmers and other consumers being subjected to substantial price increases over recent years. Overall, the Federation supported the findings and recommendations of the Ministerial Review of Electricity Market Performance and the Government's subsequent decisions. We support the Electricity Industry Bill and we submit that it should proceed.
