Scottie, chairman of the Sharemilker Employers' section and his wife, run a dairy farm at Whakatane in the Bay of Plenty. They have four farms, where they milk over 1800 cows. Two of the farms have variable order sharemilking agreements, one has a 50/50 sharemilking agreement and the fourth is run by a farm manager. Scottie has been involved with Federated Farmers Bay of Plenty for a good number of years, holding positions as the Chairman of the Bay of Plenty Dairy section and Dairy Co-director of Bay Milk Products.
