Farmers has a policy team of analysts in offices strategically
located throughout New Zealand, dedicated to working
on issues important to farming at the local, regional
and national level.
From animal
welfare to transmission power lines, from biosecurity
to local government rating demands, the Federation’s
policy team provides the analysis and sound research
that supports the Federation’s efforts in the
provinces and house of parliament.
The analysis
and expertise of the policy team is built on the experiences
of its farming members.
