Federated Farmers manifesto covers farmers' ‘policy wants'. It clearly sets out what agriculture needs so it can continue to provide for the social, economic and environmental wellbeing of all New Zealanders.

Federated Farmers aims to get members a fair deal through representing farmers' needs at local, regional and national levels.

The policy team can help individual members and provinces by providing information and advice on issues challenging agriculture and the sustainability of farm businesses. This includes responding to government and council policy, regulations and standards.
