Taranaki
Introduction
Federated Farmers Taranaki has approximately 2300 members. The boundaries are Awakino, Tahora and northern Wanganui. Taranaki province prides itself on being willing to stand beside its members on issues that are considered to be unreasonable and unfair.
It liasies with four councils and strives to be proactive rather than reactive. This was evident when Taranaki Regional Council won the 2007 Federated Farmers Top Council Awards. Federated Farmers Taranaki knows what its members expect and advocates on their behalf. It is the voice of farmers in Taranaki.
