The main issues in our province are to do with rates and how they are calculated. Environmental issues, especially water quality, are becoming a concern.

Scholarships
Federated Farmers Tararua has scholarships available for school leavers from the Tararua province who plan to start their study or training in an agricultural-related course in the following year.
Scholasrships are up to $1000 and applicants must generally be under 20 years of age.
