BBQ lunch, 12:30 – 1:00pm
We will have a series of short presentations covering the soil moisture levels, accumulated rain graphs, general recommendations on making decisions to help get through the dry, and plan for the rest of the season.
Also discussing how production is being influenced and what it might mean for the milk price, plus an accountants view on the effects on revenue, costs and profit and what tools are available to deal with any tax implications.
The presentations will finish with FarmStrong and the Rural Support Trust.
Both meetings are open to all farmers and are supported and run by the Rural Support Trust, Federated Farmers, DairyNZ, Fonterra, Open Country and MPI.
