RED WARNING FOR WESTLAND AND BULLER

MetService has issued a Red Warning for heavy rain in Westland and Buller from 1am on Wednesday. The extreme rain is likely to cause disruptions across the region, similar to previous events.
  
Please stay safe and take all precautions to move livestock to safety. There is a high risk of extreme and unpredictable flooding across the whole West Coast. Avoid at all costs taking unnecessary risks around swollen rivers and flood waters.
