You showed up. Now it's time to take that one step further

Thank you for coming to the Federated Farmers public meeting in Taumarunui the other night. We had one big objective for the evening:

Understanding your concerns around He Waka Eke Noa and the flawed climate change policies the Government are proposing and us clarifying our objections and bottom lines of re-setting the methane targets utilizing the up-to-date science (rather than ideology), being incentivized to uptake mitigations to lower emissions, and there being no emissions leakage. 
  
I invite you to support our strong leadership in the King Country and join Federated Farmers to send a clear signal to Government that shonky legislation is not okay. By joining with us, the message from King Country farmers will be strong and clear. It is time the Government took farmers views seriously and Feds are the organization that has the Government worried.
