Federated Farmers of New Zealand welcomes the opportunity to submit on MPI’s Consultation document on the proposed National Organic Standard discussion document.
Federated Farmers acknowledges the importance of organic production, and we support the choices made by farmers who wish to farm and market organic products. It is important that standards and regulations for organic products provide certainty to consumers and businesses, and that they facilitate trade in organic products.
